The AIDS Law Project Philadelphia: Legal Services Contract

Introduction

This contract is entered into by and between the AIDS Law Project Philadelphia (hereinafter referred to as “ALPP”) and the undersigned individual or entity (hereinafter referred to as “Client”). Contract outlines terms conditions legal services provided ALPP Client accordance laws regulations provision legal services state Pennsylvania.

Article 1 – Scope Legal Services
ALPP agrees to provide legal representation and counsel to the Client in matters related to HIV/AIDS law, including but not limited to discrimination, healthcare access, public benefits, and estate planning.

The Client agrees to pay ALPP for the legal services provided at the rates agreed upon in a separate fee agreement. Payment is due within 30 days of receipt of an invoice from ALPP.
Article 3 – Confidentiality
ALPP agrees to maintain the confidentiality of all information shared by the Client in the course of legal representation, in accordance with the attorney-client privilege and applicable laws and ethical rules.
Article 4 – Termination Services
Either party may terminate the provision of legal services by providing written notice to the other party. ALPP shall provide a reasonable opportunity for the Client to secure alternative legal representation.
Article 5 – Governing Law Jurisdiction
This contract shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Pennsylvania. Any disputes arising out of this contract shall be resolved in the courts of Philadelphia County.
